A funeral with heart.
My absolute aim is to deliver civil funeral ceremonies that capture the essence of a loved one’s personality and soul — helping family and friends to remember, honour and celebrate them in the most fitting and meaningful way.

I’m here to help in the time of your need
My name is Michael Snow and I am an independent civil funeral celebrant. I write and conduct very personal services for funerals and memorials. Each individual ceremony is tailor-made to reflect the life of the deceased and the personal wishes of the family.
Each life is entitled to a dignified and appropriate tribute — with the focus being on the aspects that made that person special.
What I do
Each ceremony is shaped around the loved one who has died — calm, considered, and entirely your own.
Funeral ceremonies
For burials and cremations — a personal, considered service shaped entirely around the life lived.
Memorial services
A separate gathering, weeks or months later, to remember someone in a way that suits you and your family.
Scattering & burial of ashes
A quiet, meaningful ceremony to bring people together at the moment of saying a final goodbye.

Working across the region
Michael leads ceremonies at crematoria across Derbyshire and South Yorkshire — and is just as comfortable at a graveside, a woodland glade, or your home and garden.
Let’s have a conversation.
I offer a free, no-obligation conversation to talk through what you’d like the ceremony to be. There’s no pressure — just an open chat to see how I might help.
